Armageddon Championship Series consists of 3 online and 5 offline events:

3 Armageddon Online Regional Cups (October 22, 2022 — January 22, 2023)

3 Offline Championship Series Regional events (February 7 — April 9, 2023)

1 Armageddon Championship Series Women’s Week (May 8 – 14, 2023)

1 Armageddon Championship Series Grand Finale (June12-18, 2023)

The exact dates of the each event can be found in the Armageddon Regulations.

The Armageddon Online Regional Cups will be online qualifying tournaments with more than 3000 amateur and professional players divided into three groups based on their location: Americas, Europe & Africa, Asia & Oceania.

Two winners of each group will qualify for the next over-the-board stage — the Armageddon Championship Series Regional events to compete with the world’s top grandmasters.

The Armageddon Championship Series Regional events are three offline tournaments taking place in Berlin and featuring twenty-four players fighting for spots in the Grand Finale and a huge prize.

Eight players take part in each offline event: six top grandmasters invited by the Organiser and two winners of the Armageddon Online Regional Cup.

During the Armageddon Championship Series Woman’s Week eight female grandmasters play in the one-week event, with the two winners advancing to the Grand Finale.

Armageddon Championship Series Grand Finale is the final event of the season will feature eight players and a 200,000 EUR prize fund. The tournament will include six qualifiers from the Armageddon Championship Series Regional events and two qualifiers from the Armageddon Championship Series Women’s Week.
