How to connect fide id?

Click on your profile icon and then to FIDE id connection. Then complete a few simple registration steps.

It is very important that you follow the instructions for the selfie step. Please only insert a picture of yourself holding your national id, otherwise, we will not be able to approve your request.

Should I choose “I already have fide id”?

Yes! The FIDE ID is a unique identifying number assigned to each player by FIDE. It does not matter where and how you've obtained it. The FIDE ID is unified for both otb and online FIDE-rated activities.

I forgot to choose “I already have fide id” and was assigned with a new one.
