Your information helps your opponents to know who they are playing against, and also it’s your player’s card on the official FIDE gaming platform. We recommend using your real name and photo, but you can be as creative as you want!

When you get a new or upgrade to a Pro-account to start playing for the FOA rating recognized by FIDE and to receive FIDE ID, you will be asked for your real name and city for verification.

You can manage your information in your Arena profile. Just click on your name in the menu.

Click ‘edit my profile’ if you’d like to make changes:

Once you are in your profile, you will be able to update your info, unless your data is linked with FIDE. Once your name is linked to the FIDE ID and FIDE profile, you will be able to change your details via support@chessarena.com.
