Arena (FOA) Titles are official online titles recognized by FIDE and included in the FIDE regulations. Here is an easy reference to see when you are eligible for the titles:
FOA Title eligibility requirements:
π Arena Grandmaster (AGM) β Rating 2000; the player must maintain the rating at or above 2000 for 50 games for Rapid time control or 100 games for Blitz or 150 games for Bullet to qualify for the online title.
π Arena International Master (AIM) β Rating 1700; the player must maintain the rating at or above 1700 for 50 games for Rapid time control or 100 games for Blitz or 150 games for Bullet to qualify for the online title.
π Arena FIDE Master (AFM) β Rating 1400; the player must maintain the rating at or above 1400 for 50 games for Rapid time control or 100 games for Blitz or 150 games for Bullet to qualify for the online title.
π Arena Candidate Master (ACM) β Rating 1100; the player must maintain the rating at or above 1100 for 50 games for Rapid time control or 100 games for Blitz or 150 games for Bullet to qualify for the online title.
In your Arena profile, there is a useful guide that shows you where you are in your journey for the official FOA title. After a rated game, you will also get a hint on how many games you need to reach the title.
Once you reached the required rating and number of games, your title will appear in your Arena profile and will sync with your FIDE profile within 24 hours. You will have this title for life. It will reflect on your FIDE profile and Arena pages as well as at the OTB tournaments.
